Backstage

They have arrived.

My creme and black, leather inside and out, platform, saddle shoe wedges by Jeffrey Campbell. I am officially part of the popular fashion shoe inner circle. I now know what everyone has been talking about-these babies are the most comfortable things I own!

This is just one of the many outfits revolving around my new loves-
Creme thrifted blazer, Juicy Couture black lace tights, 80's vintage net minidress courtesy of Cavortress Vintage, and my trusty Juicy Couture leopard  and leather bag.

I love that I can wear such an outfit to work :)

The Magical Kate

Vogue UK's September Issue was, as usual, a gigantic hit. Featuring Kate Moss on the cover definitely attributed to this. Like always, Kate looked absolutely magical and breath-taking. She modeled many of the new trends for this Fall. Kate and Vogue never cease to amaze me. (sigh)

Red Leather pants! Leopard print jacket with chains! LOVE.

Velvet Blazer with see through blouse.

I would die for those pants.

The FUR.

Give me those booties.

Paint chips?

Gaga for Nicole

Nicole Richie's new images for Black Book were gorgeous. They obviously were going for a Lady Gaga-look alike theme. I definitely had to do a double-take! I think Nicole is much prettier than Gaga, but take a look and decide for yourself...

I love the House of Harlow rings and gold fingernails!

I want her Louis Vuitton Stephen Sprouse graffiti leggings!

I actually think Nicole looks amazing as a blonde!

I have a slight obsession with Alice Dellal. Not only is she the daughter of a Billion-heir and a Brazillian Supermodel...but she is a model with a bad-ass look and style. She hails from Great Britain (the most stylish place in the world) and she is signed with Next Model Management. I first heard of Alice Dellal about two years ago and have stalked her photos ever since. I admit, she was the inspiration for my hair-cut as everyone can see. But, if it weren't for my boyfriend, I'm not sure if I ever would have shaved half my head in the first place. The boy told me one day, "You talk about this girl and her hair too much, we are shaving your head today". And I have loved my hair ever since.

The Net Dress.

I just recently did a show at a new sushi restaurant on King street, Oku, to raise some money for Cystic Fibrosis. Charleston Fashion Week 2010 up and coming designer, Anna Lassiter of Eden Boheme, put on a beautiful show as usual. The clothes were so very unique and fit for a princess! The net dress I wore was so comfortable and such a statement. I can't even tell you how many compliments I got on my dress! Overall, it was a very fun-filled event which achieved some good in the process.

Are you a Cavortress?

Fuji film instants shot by Austin Nelson

My good friend and local designer, Julie Wheat, is hitting this town hard with solid vintage finds and her own personal designs under her label, Cavortress. I did a bikini and retro car show for her along with some other beauties. I apologize these photos are a bit late, but I love them all the same. The lovely and talented Cyle Suesz and Austin Nelson were the photographers behind the lens...

Don't forget to check out Julie Wheat's stuff at www.cavortress.com.
Oh and she is the best vintage dealer in Charleston...
(She does custom stuff too!)

Princess or Punk?

Cyle Suesz shot these three amazing photos of myself. He is able to capture people in such a raw form. He is an amazing photographer and he is still in school at The Art Institute of Charleston. This boy will be going places....

Just Obsessed with Jeffery

Jeffery Campbell is my absolute favorite shoe designer. He does everything from classic flats to wild and amazing stand-out wedges. The heels and wedges are obviously my favorite. I think every fashionista needs to at least own one pair! They are not too outrageously priced, either. The best selection of Jeffery Campbell is available online at SoleStruck.com.

MY PICKS:

"99"

"Backstage"

"Bradley"
"Capone"

"Girl"
"Mr"
"Pixie Fur"

"Raid"
"Roman"

"Snick"

"So Smart"

"Tick"

The best part about most of Jeffery Campbell shoes is the fact that they are super comfortable! They are statement pieces and they are very well made with high-end materials. Most styles come in 5 or more colors/skins! All shoes with only a few exceptions are $200 or less.

I am coveting the "Tick" and "Mr" at the moment!
